“Where am I?” You asked yourself as you woke up. You then gasped. It was the inner high council of the Time Lords.
Lord President stood up. “Ah! You're awake! You fainted. It has come to our attention that you have turned 100 years of age yesterday and didn't tell anyone.”
You froze and bit your lip. “I-I forgot it was even my birthday.”
“You are now old enough to recieve your Time Lord name.”
“M-My name?”
“Yes child your name!” Lady Chancellor snapped.
“We have been informed by locals considering you have no friends or family...that you are a fighter? And a good one at that?” Lord President said, his tone ominous.
“Yes sir…”
“Your name shall now be The Cavalry-”
“But I thought I was supposed to choose my own name! They aren’t assigned!” You interrupted.
“Do not interrupt!” Lord Castillion yelled, his voice bouncing loudly off the walls of the empty room.
“You are to report to the war room in 5 minutes. If not there we shall assume you have refused our orders thus committing treason and shall have you executed.” Lord President boomed.
“Executed?” You whispered as you were lead off somewhere by a guard.
“This is the changing room where you shall get changed into this” He said almost shoving the war uniform into your hands. “Don’t waste time”
You stepped into the small changing room and were surprised when you bumped into another person. You both grunted as you hit the ground, you banging your head on a locker.
“Are you alright?” The person asked.
“Y-Yeah...just being sent into the front lines of war and if I try to run they will execute me is all” You said with a bitter laugh.
“You too?”
You stood up and saw a young boy with brown hair and blue eyes. He looked about your age. “Yeah...What’s your name?”
“I’m the Doctor. And you?”
“The Cavalry apparently…..but my real name is (Y/n) If you're a doctor why are you being sent to fight?”
“They need everyone they can get….I should go. It was nice talking to you (Y/n)!” He said running out of the room and waving.
