Nightmares (11th Doctor X Reader)

You woke up in a cold sweat nearly on the verge of tears. "D-Doctor?!" You whispered fearfully. You got up, cringing as your bare feet touched the cold metal floor of the TARDIS. You shuffled your way down the hallways just hoping to get there faster. Finally you arrived at the door. You knocked on it softly. "Doctor?" You whispered again.

"Mmph" came the tired response from the raggedy man. "Yeah? Come in"

You opened the door and walked in slowly. "I um....I had a bad dream....I wanted to make sure you were okay" you said blushing slightly as you sat on the edge of the bed.

He motioned for you to come closer and when you did he hugged you close to him, you immediately felt safer in his arms. "I'm always okay (Y/n)" He said placing his chin on the top of your head gently.

"I wasn't sure if it was re-real but in the dream these things were killing everyone and you were really scared...And that made me scared..."

He smiled kindly. "Now you and I both know I'm never ever scared of anything. I'm the oncoming storm remember? Trust me I'm the Doctor"

You allowed yourself to smile slightly and nodded. "I remember" You then checked your arms. "I remember" You repeated. "And I always trust you"

"You're welcome to stay here for the night if you like" He said closing his eyes.

"Thank you Doctor" You said closing your eyes as well and smiling.

"You're very welcome (Y/n)"

Needless to say you didn't have anymore nightmares.
