I'll never let you go. (11th DoctorxShy!Reader)

You bite your lip and hesitate, your body inches away from the door. You were going to tell him today. That you love him. "Doctor..." You say quietly. "Can I come in?"

He looks up and smiles. "Of course (Y/n). Anything for my favorite companion." He gestures to you to come in.

You walk inside and sit on the edge of the bed, looking around the room. "Wow....it's bigger on the inside" You joke

He smiles at you. "Ah well, you know all this wibbly wobbly timey wimey. Stuff."

You laugh slightly and nod. "You said the Daleks were gone right? Your Donna-Doctor clone killed them all?"

"Seen it with my own eyes. But with Gallifrey stopped in midst of the Time War, 'fraid they still exist in a pocket of time. Just not right now." He says as he lays a hand on your shoulder as if to reassure you.

You blush and sigh. "Good...That's fantastic for now"

"Hmm... fantastic. That sounds like something I should say... Fantastic! Hm....nah I like Geronimo better." He smiles as he notices your blush. "Are you blushing?" he questions curiously.

You blush even more and hide your face slightly. "N-Nope"

"That might be even cuter than the adipose themself!" he laughs at you teasingly. "Why do you blush?"

"I blush for a lot of reasons" You reply, stretching.


He notices how your hair falls and he stares at you for a moment. "Ah I'm sorry." He turns his head away from you.

You bite your lip and stand up. "It's alright" You suddenly frown and stand on his bed. "Yes! Now I'm taller!" You say triumphantly.

He smiles at you. "Ah yes, you are the taller one!" He jumps on the bed too. "Now things are normal!"

You smile and stand on your toes trying to seem as tall as possible. "But I like abnormal things better! Why do you think I like you so much?"

He dazes off at her mention of the word "like". "Like? What do you mean by such (Y/n)?"

You bite your lip. You hadn't realized you had said the last part. It was lucky you hadn't said love. "Um...just you know...like"

He grins mischieviously as he doesn't believe you. "I believe you should tell me! I am the Doctor! I'm a Time Lord! I'm from the planet Gali-" He caught himself just inches away from your lips as he stared longingly for them, but veers away.

"Well I'm the human! ....A human from the planet Earth and I may be the only one who isn't obsessed with Hashtags and YOLO's!"

The Doctor smiles, then flops onto his bed. "I see. In all my years I have never met a human who has used hashtag or YOLO! And trust me, that fad doesn't die for awhile." He pats down the bed for you to lay next to him.

You do so and smile. "Well maybe not in London you haven't but in America....I swear they are obsessed with it. I still don't know what the point of it is"

He faces you and smiles. "You Americans and your silly whims. Time Lords don't really use YOLO. We live about 13 times so..." He stares back into your (e/c) eyes.

"Hey I'm only like....half american...so yeah" You say sticking your tongue out at him.

He smiles back at her and senses your nervousness rising as he leans closer to you. "Tell me (Y/n)... You never told me if you had a lover when I took you into the TARDIS as my companion."

You blush and laugh shakily. "I don't recall you asking. But to answer your question no I don't have one and I never have"

He was appalled by this. "You never have had a significant other? (F/n) (L/n)! We are taking you to find a man!" He says jumping up from the bed.

You quickly sit up. "W-What? Why?"

"Why 19 years without one? Shall I be the Love Doctor? Please tell me you have had a kiss perchance!"

You bite your lip and stay silent.

"You've not have you?"

"N-Nope....Sorry...I think"

He stares at you more intensely as he comes face with you. "Name someone you want to kiss. Anybody and I will make it happen."

You nearly whimper at the thought of kissing him. Surely you couldn't say that though. Why was he so determined to pair you with someone? You guessed after having Amy and Rory for so long he was used to having a couple in the TARDIS. "Um...I'm not sure" You lie.

"I can read your mind, (Y/n). The TARDIS gives me that ability." He says as he stares at you.

You blush, turning a near scarlet color. "Y-You can?" You ask nervously.

"Nah, I see it in your face." He grins and grabs your hand. "I have spent 907 years of my life knowing that I can never have permanent relationships.. but perhaps this is different. You are brilliant (F/n) (L/n). Brilliance is beauty. You have been at my side and I refuse to let you leave..." He says just centimeters away from your lips

You lean in and kiss him softly, praying that this isn't another dream. After a few moments you pull away, unable to do anything but smile.

He greets you again with a smile and holds your hand. "That was... unexpected. But I do love the abnormal."

"I love it too.....by the way you have no idea how much courage it took for me to do that" You comment with another shaky laugh, half of you still trying to process what happened.

"Oh, I could imagine. At least you don't have two hearts to give you twice the jitters!" He laughs and hugs you kissing your forehead. "I love you (Y/f/n)."
